Do you ever come home tired from work? Yeah, like EVERY day. And think...I could really unwind in my little sewing space. And you start cutting fabric and sewing. Get up for dinner. Go back. Look at the design wall and screech! "What did I do???!!!???"
I had cut all but one sashing strip the proper width.
I know better! I write these things down and double and triple check before putting blade to fabric. So yesterday was seam ripper day. I had strips from 2 3/4" to 3". My desire was 2 1/2". Is there a tutorial on the proper way to use a seam ripper? Is it on the outside under every single stitch? Is it straight down the middle? I used both methods!
All corrections made and ready to finish up the sashing and borders. WHEW.
